OGS Reminders and Next Steps

Please remember that the Office of Global Services (OGS) advises on visa and immigration regulations and processes. Please check in with them for any questions.

Reminders

If you have not taken steps towards completing the Prague visa process, you should get started ASAP!  Please review the Prague Long-Stay Visa Instructions for Spring 2015.   Pay close attention to the section on requesting Criminal History Records if this applies to you.

If you have completed the Student Information Form and Passport Upload Form, visa documents from NYU Prague have started to arrive.  You will receive an email from our office with further instructions once we receive yours.

If you have any questions/concerns regarding the visa process for Prague, please contact Aaron Reynolds in the Office of Global Services; you can reach him by email at aaron.reynolds@nyu.edu or by phone at 212-998-4242.

Next Steps

OGS will be holding an in-person visa workshop to provide an overview of the Czech immigration process.  This event will take place this Friday, October 17th at 1pm in the Conference Room at 561 LaGuardia Place.  If you would like to attend this event but are unable to, we will also be holding a virtual session on Thursday October 23rd at 9:30am. Information about logging-in to the virtual session will be sent by OGS closer to the date.

Update

Next week only, if you would like to meet with an OGS representative you will need to schedule an appointment as we will not have regular walk-in hours. To schedule an appointment, please contact your OGS representative directly (please see our previous blog post to identify who this is if you are unsure). Alternatively you can call OGS at (212) 998-4242 or email us at ogs.outbound@nyu.edu.
